A new day is dawning,
but I’m so overwhelmed,
will I make it till tomorrow
or feel normal again?
Lord, I know I must trust You,
You’re my Savior, my Friend.
I need the touch of Your Spirit
to remind me again.
To keep my eyes Lord on You,
while You’re renewing my mind
with things that are true.
Whatsoever is pure,
whatsoever is right
I must think on these things,
and fill my mind with Light.
We must remember our struggle,
remember the day,
so when someone is hurting
we can show them the way.
For the spirit comforts us
with a love that’s so strong,
we can’t keep that love within us
we must pass it along.
And keep our eyes Lord on You,
while You’re renewing our mind
with things that are true.
Whatsoever is pure,
whatsoever is right,
we must think on these things,
and fill our mind with Light.
Lord, You exchanged my old
for Your new and
You lifted me up where
I’m hidden in you.
And I must keep my eyes
Lord on You,
while You’re renewing my mind
with things that are true.
