13| Shepherd’s Lullaby

When the walls around me are closing in,
All I want is to withdraw within.
That’s when I seem to run away.
I’m a little sheep, that has gone astray.
I know my Shepherd will go out of His way,
To come and take me home again 

Chorus:
And I will lay at the feet of my Shepherd and rest,
Put the fear of the day in the past.
He is there never leaving me alone.
My trust and love will I give unto Him,
As I humble my heart as He reaches in
To comfort me, willing me to stay 
I’ve the kind of will, that wants to do it myself.
I don’t think I need or want any help.
I find myself wandering all alone.
I know each time I’m alone that I’m lost.
When will I learn someone else paid my cost?
And let my loving Shepherd guide me home.
