08| Walk in Freedom

I met a man in desperate need,
Broken on his knees.
God placed me there
For such a time as this
Not a job or home he needed most
But to know someone loved him so.
Jesus cared for this precious, hurting soul.
And as the tears began to flow,
He wanted to know about freedom,
and a new way of living.

I told him,
Freedom comes through Christ,
When you give to Him your life.
All our sins have long been washed away.
He makes us brand new.
Calls us sons and daughters too.
He gave us His life,
So we could walk in freedom.

Lord it seems to me a mystery,
how You gave so much to me.
You're within me and
You're everything I need.
I try to work and earn my way,
But you gently show me a better way,
Just let You take control and be my Guide
I'm beginning to understand,
You have such a bigger plan,
Than I'd ever dreamed of,
I've never known such love.

Because, Freedom comes through Christ.
When you give to Him your life.
All our sins have long been washed away.
He made us brand new,
Calls us sons and daughters too,
He gave us His life,
So we could walk in freedom.

He didn't just give us a book,
Or a strategic plan,
Better than that
He became a man.

Freedom comes through Christ.
When you give to Him your life.
All our sins have long been washed away.
He made us brand new,
Called us sons and daughters too,
He gave us His life,
Let us walk in freedom.
