From a songwriter’s heart comes the story of a young girl’s
dilemma and struggle with a choice in an unplanned pregnancy.
Cindy Hughlett captures the bare emotion of the real life story
of Eli Newton in “There Was A Heartbeat.” Meeting Eli and his
parents Stephen and Lana Newton was amazing for Cindy, a joyful
occasion experiencing first hand their love and devotion for their
son. Lana penned a beautiful poem that was the inspiration for
Cindy to write the song that God intended to become a living
testimony of the determination of a young girl’s heart to
unselfishly put the life within her above herself, placing the
child into a loving home. This song tackles a tough issue but
does so with love and tenderness without being offensive.

Love Never Has Regret has been a four year journey of God
teaching Cindy the true depths of His love for her personally.
With the illness and passing of her daddy, God began to pen new
songs from the personal depths of her soul, taking her full circle,
to where the music began years before when her first born son
went to be with the Lord.

Just as the songs began to flow to comfort and encourage, so the
last four years have been melodies and words from heaven
touching Cindy’s heart and assuring her that love never has
regret and that it’s ok to open her heart and share the love
that the Comforter has poured upon her.

With renewed purpose and hope, God has carried and continues
to encourage Cindy to reach out to others and share this message
of love. He is teaching her that character is more important than
comfort, and not to be afraid of the storms of life. Knowing there
is meaning and purpose with each breath that we take, and that
God is big enough in the struggles, doubts and questions as
He challenges her not to be afraid to be real.
